You still won't get "real time" that many people hope for. Try FreeDOS. I hardly think he'd want to wipe his whole hard drive just so he could install FreeDos or OpenDos / DR Dos. He'd be better off installing one of the virtual machines, such as Virtual PC 2007 (just released), VMWare, Qemu or VirtualBox (which is based on qemu). You won't get 100% performance, but it will be 75%+ for cpu bound stuff. (Qemu has two modes. An emulator mode which emulates the cpu, which lets you run x86 stuff on other architectures, giving about a 10% performance, and a 'native' x86 mode which uses a system kernel driver that lets the program run on the real cpu.) ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Unrestricted-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |

And I used a dos command called 'xcopy' to copy all the files and folder in rebel12.iso to c drive of DOS. For some reasons, I cannot use mouse within Rebel. That means I have to try this free mouse drive for dos. (I could play some moves against Rebel with keyboard.) http://cutemouse.sourceforge.net/ dajava, |
