After using ChessBase Light for years with no problem, for some reason
the board window has diappeared. Any ideas how to activate? I tried reinstalling it to no avail. THe only thing I did was uninstall an old Fritz program, but I doubt the programs share .DLLs Maybe it's time I switch to SCID if I don't hear anything from here... RL |

RL I tried SCID and found it lacking since there's no way to make the Analysis window "stick" to the main window; instead it remains as a child window that is reduced, making it hard to see side by side with the main window. You can minimize the anlysis window with Scid, but I have no problem having board and analysis windows visible at the same time ... Pascal |

I disinstalled the otherwise excellent SCID program since I could not keep both windows visible at the same time. RL |

"SCID Analysis windows needs 'Always on top' option which current SCID doesn't have." Then you can put Analysis window on main windows all the time. dajava, |

I am running Windows XP and show both at the same time... maybe you are seeking an "always on top" feature so no other newly spawened windows can cover it up? c ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Unrestricted-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |
