It's clear that the Chessbase tactic is to employ idiots like you two,
attempting to discredit anyone who mentions bugs in their software. That won't work with me. A bug is a bug. I have no agenda, except to report what I find, to wit: The newest Fritz8/Shredder8 GUI update is buggy as hell and does not have proper exception/error handling. Period. End of story. -E "CeeBee" wrote in message . 6.74... (Thomas) wrote in rec.games.chess.computer: Uh-huh. Go back to dispensing your advice. Clearly my 20 years of software development is no match for your in-depth PC knowledge. Wait till he reverses the polarity on his deflector dish. With an adjusted tachyon beam it might be possible. -- CeeBee EMH Mark I: "Stop breathing down my neck." EMH Mark II: "My breath is merely a simulation." EMH Mark I: "So is my neck. Stop it anyway." |

Somehow, someway, you've seen through the smoke and mirrors and have found
that, indeed, many of us are in fact Chessbase employees. Well done, Sherlock, I commend your efforts. What's interesting is that your evidence doesn't consist of us pimping Chessbase products at all, your evidence is us pointing out how much you don't know about computers. Interesting. Actually this argument was good, because you finally made a reasonable statement. Had you just said that to begin with, we wouldn't have gone down this path! "Euclid" wrote in message nk.net... It's a standard of the English language to write your message in a way that
conveys exactly what you're trying to say, and what your intent is. You didn't do that, which is also, alas, a Usenet standard. Whether the original target of your message knows what he is talking about, or not, is irrelevant in this case, since his statement is not factually incorrect and there is no way of knowing whether that was by luck or design. Just an observation. No need to get upset. "CeeBee" wrote in message .74... "Damir Ulovec" wrote in rec.games.chess.computer: Instead of getting so upset that you hardly can compose your words into a coherent message, remember the next time that it was _me_ who made the original remark, and so it was _me_ knowing what the intention of that remark was, not you. There's no need to make a fool out of yourself. And also remember that filtering people just because they tell you that you didn't understand their words and explain to you _why_ you didn't understand them is a very poor way of discussing. Alas, it's the Usenet standard by now. -- CeeBee |

Responding to you is a waste of time, but of course that's what you intend.
