Default Where is HELP BOT ~~~~

Dec 23 2007 was the last day I saw post of Help Bot here. After that
today 10 Days have passed and not a single post by Help Bot. He used
to post 4-5 Messages daily Now what happened to him?

Has he gone out in the Winter?

Has he gone some where where there is no Internet Access???

Where is Help Bot. I miss his games, He used to play at GetClub. Has
he forgotten Chess?

If anyone finds Help Bot tell him to post his good advices again.

Every year around this time, I have to travel up North
on business. I am very, VERY busy during the Xmas
season, let's just say in the distribution of goods
racket.

Now this year, while doing some extensive traveling
from my home base in the North, I caught a nasty
cold... more than a cold, actually. An infection, which
knocked me cold, and messed up one of my two visual
sensors. I could not read; I could not write; in fact, I
went a week without even logging onto the internet!

Back now (I ho, ho, hope), I have been catching up on
my emails, using some powerful lenses to compensate
for my visual sensor problem. The chess newsgroup,
sad to say, is not priority number one. But I have not
"forgotten" chess. In fact, my next tournament will
likely be the single best opportunity for opponents to
snatch some easy rating points from me, owing to my
impaired condition. (Not that anyone was having any
difficulties in that regard before.)

Now, as for GetClub: my latest impression is that
it is getting tougher and tougher to win, yet at some
point (if I can hang tough) the program will still self-
destruct, often as not by a trade of a piece for two
pawns and a couple of spite-checks.

I still stand by my original advice: if you can make
the program "see" tactics with check-and-capture
extensions, and if you program it to be purely
materialistic, most humans will bite the dust on
account of the computer's far superior speed and
accuracy. It is the attempt to inject a value on
what I see as spite-checks, which is throwing off
the eval. function. No crude program can assess
the true value of spite-checks, so they ought to be
ignored; if there is a mating attack, *calculate it*,
don't guess percentages. Don't settle for less
than three pawns in exchange for a piece.

Help Bot,

The **** vat has messed up your primary processor (BRAIN). Perhaps a
bath, a cleaning, and a fresh
meal will help that Visual Sensor. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov says HI to you
personally. I heard there were vats
of **** in Chess City, Russia, and he told me to tell you there is a
job hearding Sheep and working
with the FIDE spam team in Chess City, if you one day want it.

FIDE has two kinds of **** in Chess City: SHEEP and SPAM. Your resmue
has made it to RUSSIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have got Eye Infection?

Yes a few more improvements were done. So it would give a good
Challenge once you come back to play at GetClub Chess.

No. The damage is not /that/ superficial.

I'm still waiting for my Rolex; you know,
the Submariner model he promised me in

A bit of a long commute, eh? Tell him I will

say, one million $ for fuel expenses.

Look, Mr. Roberts: you don't know the first
thing about Indiana. First of all, once we
muck the stalls, the sh*t does not go into a
"vat" for cooking. It is put onto a spreader
and strewn across the fields as organic
fertilizer. As for sheep, look in Australia; it's
an island in the South Pacific ocean -- a BIG
island. I see you're still holding a grudge
over your ignominious defeat in the great war
of St. Kitts and Nevis, which we won. Get
over it kid; *everybody* loses to us.

A cooking hint: never think of "vats" when
you are dealing with sh*t; that stuff goes onto
the ground, and is slowly absorbed into foods
after bacteria breaks it down into its basic
nutrients. Only use vats for cooking edible
foods, not organic fertilizers, or sh*t. Hope
this helps!

Please tell us you didn't try to put any sh*t into the
vats at UMM? This is known as a contaminant",
and is strongly discouraged. As for Cummins, I've
been there, though not necessarily to the Electronics
division; I wasn't really paying close attention to what
division it was.

No wonder you seem so confused about farming
techniques; all you've ever done is manufacturing
and electronics. Here, take some of your immense
wealth and buy some John Deere stock (DE), and
just read over the materials they will send you as
a stockholder. Also grab Monsanto (MON), a
company which makes genetically-enhanced
seeds, which are used by farmers. And while we
are on the subject, grab Potash (POT), a company
which makes fertilizers (including nitrogen, and you
guessed it, potash). Better still, buy options so
you get more leverage. Once you're up, say, a
million dollars, send half to me and I'll tell you our
next move. ;D
