There are 5 Levels Master takes Most of the time.

Beginner - 5-10 seconds/move
Easy: 20-40 seconds/move
Normal: 1-2 min/move
Master: 5-10 min/move.

All levels play very good. Master is only for Top players.

It was your comment; "the game will finish in 2-3 days" that I was referring
too. 5-10 minutes per move isn't so bad. Assuming 40 moves each at 10
minutes per move, that is *only* 13 hours. But 2-3 days is an incredible
amount of time to play an online game [as if 13 hours is not], which is the
source of my comment.

Yes these days he is very HOT. I think he is busy with some typical
work. [Hard Work]

Yes, he has been very busy with his, um, work. LOL!

I just played the Easy level, and in a complex middle
game I moved a piece en prise (where it can simply be
captured for free). Told you I am still half-blind!

But even half-blind, I am beating the Beginner level
rather consistently-- hahahah!

The real question would be ....

Is there anyone in the world willing to waste
their time with a program that takes 2-3 days
to play an adequate (I am being generous)
game of chess while paying a per-game fee
when they could just download Crafty or
any number of other programs for free that
play stroner then GC ever will, have a far
better interface, etc..... or surf on over to
FICS (www.freechess.org) which offers a
slew of better interfaces as well as both
Human-Human and Human-Computer
games at no charge)

No, you're being ignorant. The GetClub
program *used to be* the way you describe,
but now it is much tougher; you would know
that if you bothered to do the research; just
playing the fastest levels tells the tale. In the
old days, it was nearly impossible to lose,
but now, even though there are some glaring
weaknesses, the program is better than most
humans at tactics.

Are tactics enough to make for a decent
game of chess, you might ask? As some
famous bank robber is reputed to have said
when asked why he robbed banks, "because
*that's* where the money is!" Yes, tactics
are where the game is most often decided.

Hey, those commercial chess programs
will beat the tar out of most humans, so they
need to be dumbed-down. For years, I've
seen complaints about how they aren't
dumbed-down properly, etc.

And nobody I know of has paid anything.
You get 30 games for free, and if you play
decent chess you will invariably earn more
"free" games each month. So the question
is, do you want to play other humans, or
would you like a shot at "surviving" against
a beatable computer with almost no
openings book? There is a huge difference
in style of play here, so maybe you should
try both before leaping to any conclusions.
Rob the gas stations and the convenience
stores, then try a bank. Er, I mean then
try GetClub, and then come back and tell
everyone that as a grandmaster, you find
it to be no challenge whatever. That way,
all the other GMs reading here will be
forewarned... . ;D

Will you stop Sleeping Eating and other activities. And also consider
Opponents move time. And will you keep playing even at night. With 5-6
hours daily you can finish a Game with Master Level in 2-3 days.
