Default too many EMD files for the folder?

I have a strange problem where my NTFS formatted drive will not accept
any more EMD files. I realize this isn't an EMD file problem per se,
but hoping that others here have experienced and solved this issue.

I use crafty on at times WinXP, FreeBSD, and Linux OS's all accessing
this 200GB NTFS partition where I have a TB folder packed with about
110GB of EMD files. A blue screen results if I try to copy any more
files over to this partition (in WinXP of course because only MS OS's
will write to NTFS safely at this point).

Crafty question: could I simply create another parition with these
additional EMD files and specify a 2nd TBPATH? I haven't been able to
get this to work so I suppose the answer is NO. IOW, I don't think
you can append additional directories with the colon as you can in the
UNIX shell. Prof. Hyatt, I'd really think this would be a great
enhancement to crafty if it would prove feasible.

Thanks, but the link doesn't say anything about size limits for
NTFS-formatted folders. Note that none of the files are over 2GB
anyways.

In answer to my own post, I used a workaround to add more files to
this partition and folder... I attached the 200GB drive to a
firewire/USB2 interface and connected the drive that way. Worked like
a champ. I believe its a hardware/BIOS issue. Its either the HPT370
disk controller or maybe I should set it up as cable select instead of
slave. Now, although adding files to the drive worked fine, I can't
access the drive at all (when reconnected to the IDE port) from WinXP
and using the EMD files from within crafty in linux results in '+++++
read error' from crafty. However, I'm happy to report that crafty
from within FreeBSD 5.2.1 works flawlessly using these EMD files on
this large NTFS partition/drive. Reading this drive using the
USB2/Firewire interface would work, but is a bit slower of course than
having it connected to the IDE port.
