I initially missed the article that appeared in the New York Times two
days ago, but this is a truly great development: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/20/us/20chess.html What needs to be noted (and what nobody else has commented on thus far) is that this program comes from Erik Anderson and his American Foundation for Chess. It also should be recalled that a certain person was attacking Mr. Anderson relentlessly last year. Sam Sloan |

postings by "The Fake Sam Sloan" affected the outcome of the election. In one of the examples you deleted, the Fake Sam Sloan attacked four of the candidates, when he wrote, "Let's vote for Sam Sloan, Schultz, Lux and Jones! 4 years with them will surely kill the USCF for good." He also attacked Don Schultz, Bill Goichberg and Erik Anderson in the same posting. Since you were a strong supporter of the Fake Sam Sloan and a strong opponent of the Real Sam Sloan during the election campaign, you are obviously biased and you should disqualify yourself or be disqualified from moderating postings on this subject. You should also be disqualified from moderating my postings because you are the only moderator who is also a defendant in the lawsuit I filed against Truong et al. You should have the other moderators moderate my postings. Sam Sloan |

Sam Sloan I want to point out that Erik Anderson was one of the most frequent victims of attack by the "Fake Sam Sloan" whom we now know to be Paul Truong. Here are a few examples posted to rgcp by The Fake Sam Sloan. They are from the Mottershead Report. They easily explain why Mr. Anderson wants nothing to do with the USCF. They are all posted from and These are NOT my email addresses: Article: 304231 From: "Sam Sloan" Newsgroups: rec.games.chess.politics,rec.games.chess.misc,rec. games.chess.computer Subject: U.S. Chess Championship - 2007 - Qualification Process Date: 21 Nov 2006 07:15:02 -0800 There will be no 2007 US Championship. It has been officially cancelled. I don't want any stinking money from a crook like Erik Anderson. There's no need to spend $250K for the US Championship. We can do it for $3K in Brooklyn at the local YMCA. The USCF needs to start saving money now. Sam Sloan Article: 305368 From: "samsloan" Newsgroups: rec.games.chess.politics,rec.games.chess.misc,rec. games.chess.computer,alt.chess Subject: The USCF must get rid of Goichberg and Erik Anderson Date: 25 Dec 2006 20:31:22 -0800 Beatriz Marinello tried to get rid of the AF4C contract while she was president. It's too bad she didn't succeed. She'll help me do it now. We don't want AF4C and Erik Anderson. Sam Sloan Article: 305645 From: "samsloan" Newsgroups: rec.games.chess.politics,rec.games.chess.misc,rec. games.chess.computer,alt.chess Subject: Erik Anderson is a crook Date: 30 Dec 2006 09:01:34 -0800 Article: 305722 From: "samsloan" Newsgroups: rec.games.chess.politics,rec.games.chess.misc,rec. games.chess.computer,alt.chess Subject: Marcus Roberts will sponsor the 2007 US Championship in Wyoming Date: 31 Dec 2006 07:51:07 -0800 Marcus Roberts told me that he will sponsor the 2007 US Championship in Wyoming. He will offer $1 million prize funds. The winner would get $250,000! We no longer need the AF4C and Erik Anderson. Sam Sloan Article: 305747 From: "samsloan" Newsgroups: rec.games.chess.politics,rec.games.chess.misc,rec. games.chess.computer,alt.chess Subject: The deadline has passed Date: 31 Dec 2006 23:48:52 -0800 It's after midnight and no proposal from the AF4C. That means that they're out and I will entertain bids from interested parties. We don't need any stinking AF4C or Erik Anderson. Larry Cohen is my answer.
