Default best handheld chess computer?

What is the best handheld portable chess computer on the market today?
Would like good graphics and strong rating, and portablity and battery
life... I'm aware Saitek, Excalibur, and Novag are the only
manufacturers of such computers, correct?

I would throw pocket pc into the mix, but these devices have such poor
battery life and longevity that I don't think they really qualify as
portable options.

Thanks in advance...

Borat

My Zire 21 has long battery life and with hiarcs would be stronger
than any of the dedicated handhelds. Not sure how much battery the
current Z22 has.

What is the battery life if you played Pocket Fritz, a CPU intensive
application?

What is the battery life like for a Palm Pilot, could I play Hiarcs
for several hours on it? Are there other useful chess apllications
for Palm?

Why no opinions on other chess handhelds, I thought this was where
chess computer experts post!!

You should be able to sit down and play a 6 hour game, and more, on a
Zire 21. Zire 22 has a color screen and uses more battery. Since I
don't have a Z22 I can't testify to it's battery life. Try some
googling on that one.

The displays are better on the Plam devices vs. the dedicated
handhelds and they are stronger as well.

There are other chess progs for Palm apart from the playing ones but I
never found them very useful. You can load up games and positions.

I have a palm pilot TX and I can play/analyze games for 6 hours easily
using chess genius.
