Multiple Game Analysis in Fritz or CM by
Mike & Lisa Nelson
Is there any way in either Fritz 9 or CM10 to load multiple games and have
it analyze each game in succession?
It would be nice to head to bed, work, etc. and have it crunch the analysis
when I don't need the computer.
Thanks.
Mike

Hi, I'm new and have some questions by
Deadchef
Hello... I'm new here and relatively new to chess. I have a bunch of questions regarding the myriad of available software. A friend of mine gave me a program called Chess Mentor deluxe which is not a chessplaying program. I like it, however I'm looking for something to store my games from ICC/OTB tournaments as well as getting a chess program to analyze the positions for me and offer move...

ftp server question by
Ruud
There is a ftp nalimov tablebase. Can anyone tell me how to put this to use?
Is it meant for downloading? I don't think so, because it doesn't seem to
work that way. But can one consult this ftp-information, if needed?

Phalanx XXII - Reborn by
José de Paula Rodrigues
Greetings,
I've put Dusan Dobes' Phalanx chess engine on Sourceforge.net with a
few (cosmetic) changes to make modern GCC (3.2+) happy. Jim Ablett,
with deeper changes, ported it to Windows/MSVC++.
You can grab it at http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/phalanx, both
its Unix source code and Ablett's modified Windows source + windows
binary.

Questions about ICC by
Poupoulenia@gmail.com
Hello, i would like to ask how ICC find out if one uses computer
assistance
and how can also keep track of a user?
I beleive that through its interface which happens to be BlitzIn, it
somehow stores specific hardware information so even if one change
his/her ip address or even his ICC handle his still able to identify
him.
How does ICC do that? By hacking our computer?

GET PAID TO PLAY GAMES by
Ron
"How Would you Like to Make
$9 - $80 an Hour Playing
Video Games?"
Hi, My name is Alex Lum. I have been a video game tester for various Game Developers for 4 Years now.
Did you know that the average pay rate for game testers is from $9-$80 an Hour and that you don 't need any formal education. The only requirement for being a game tester is that you are 15 or over.
Video Game Testing is my job...

Help with Fritz 9 PGN by
Wargamer Scott
Greetings,
I am new to the world of Fritz and am having problems with cutting and
pasting a game in PGN notation. I go to the "options----clipboard" screen
and select "game---text---PGN" and "game---PGN---old format" option. But
all I get is:
==============================
5) Eduardo (1460) - Scott (1294)

Saving analysis by
Poco Bueno
I'm not sure if it exists, but I'm wondering if there's program that saves
it's analysis and doesn't need to start from scratch each time....mainly so
I can explore different moves quickly within a game.
TIA

jose Chess Database 1.4.1 by
pete.schaefer@gmail.com
Hello,
Jose Chess Database version 1.4.1 is available for download from:
http://jose-chess.sourceforge.net/index_download.html
Jose features now a UI opening book.
It can read book files in the Polyglot and Crafty formats
(and, of course, engines can have their own book files).

Please recommend a decent computer chess game/program. by
Teece
Hi,
I am confounded by all of the computer chess programs out there. Too many to
choose from. Some are free and some are not. I barely know the game and am
looking to improve, especially with respect to my openings. I am looking for
a computer chess program that I can play that will help me improve my game.
Thank You
Tom

Problem with Convekta chess fonts :( by
Ricardo
Hello,
Have just bought "Comprehensive Chess Endings" in Convekta Ltd. Everything's
fine except for some chess fonts that are not displayed properly on my WinXP
Pro box. I installed chess fonts recommended on the producer's web site and
also used the SetupFont.exe utility provided with the CD, and in vain. Still
some fonts, like symbols for the Bishop or the King are not displayed - I
can see...

Computer Chess Game For beginner by
merlin47
I am a beginning chess player and would like to buy a chess game for my PC so that I can practice. Does anyone know of a good one? I would like one that has beginner levels, so that I won't get frustrated by trying to beat a game that is unwinnable except by an expert. Thx

Chess Assistant Null Move Question by
richardheldmann@yahoo.com
How can you enter null moves in CA 8.1 notation? In other words, how
can white or black enter successive moves? I want to be able to show
what white or black is planning to do.
