Hello, I am a novice/casual player and would like to start playing a little more regularly. Previously on PC's I'd had ChessMaster, but never took much advantage of it. Is there anything equivalent on the Mac platform? GNU Chess that comes w/ the operating system trounces me regularity, but doesn't seem to have much in the way of tutorials, learning aids, etc. unless I'm missing something. ...

If I enter the moves 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 c5 3.Nf3 cd4 4.Nd4 e5 into a board window right click and select add to repertoire,then go to the repertoire DB and look at this game why is Nd4 highlighted in blue as the critical opening position and not the move e5. C.C.L.

How many of these have a no CD crack for the latest version and has anyone used any of these with a VIRTUAL CD Drive? Where can any or all be found if they exist? I am a registered user of all of them so using a NOCD patch is NOT piracy.

I recently bought a copy of the Chessbase Kasparov's "How To Play The Queen's Gambit" DVD. It's regionally encoded and will not play on a US TV. However, it plays ok on a computer under the chessbase reader and you can watch the videos in there.
