First of all, how do I save a game? Second, how do I import pgn's from games I have on the internet and how do I use shredder 8 to analyze thesee games and help me pick the best move? I understnad not everyone will like that I am analyzing my game positions, but I am a beginner and plan to stop after I get the hang of chess. Just need shredder 8 to tell me the best moves for a little while.

I'm a beginner having trouble understanding alphabeta search. A mating sequence might start with a queen sacrifice, but since the search hasn't gotten deep enough to see the mate, won't the sacrifice get cut off? And since that line is cut off, how does the search ever find it? Thanks.

I find the skinny 4" x 7" manual and the HELP FILE very limited. For example: the HELP FILE "find/search" feature only eliminates scrolling through the entries -- beyond that it is useless. Has anyone found a way to play on ICC using a PDA (specically in my case an HP iPAQ 4150 'pocketpc') ?
