I got chessmaster 9k + Fritz 8 I understand the machine can't play full power unless U give it 2 hours 2 make 40 moves I only give it + me 15 minutes , + I set it at 2400 , my guess is cause of the time limit it only playing bout 1300 U need 2 give it bout 3 minutes 2 make a move 4 it to play at full strength , correct ? on Chessmaster 9k if U set it at 2400 even w/3 minutes per move it...

My Pawns are Roman men with shields and long sharp spears and when you kill another piece the spear go's through the body of the other piece.. I recently paid good money for Chessmaster 9000 and I have just pitted = it at its highest level in a game against a freeware program called = FreeChess. I expected Chessmaster 9000 to thrash the freeware program, = but it didn't. It managed a draw. Is Chessmaster 9000 any good? Mike

Just bought CM9000 and am trying to check out the ubi.com interface. I keep getting the error "ubi.com has not yet detected your disconnection. Try again in a few minutes." I'll wait for 5 minutes, but then every time I try again, I get the same message. The ubi.com support site hasn't helped me solve my problem. Any advice? Thanks in advance. Mike
