After using ChessBase Light for years with no problem, for some reason the board window has diappeared. Any ideas how to activate? I tried reinstalling it to no avail. THe only thing I did was uninstall an old Fritz program, but I doubt the programs share .DLLs Maybe it's time I switch to SCID if I don't hear anything from here... RL

I use Chessmaster 5000 / Chessmaster 7000 to play over games from books (and save them in my computer). When I retract a move and try a new one, a move branch is created. My friends Fritz 9 went one and sixteen in the 5 minute blitz games .. So then he played them at 25 min game and it was a draw and so he played them n 90 minute game and Fritz won... Why does Rybka dominate at 5 min games but draw or lose longer thinking games ? I am sure rybka can win those longer games but he only played those two games one time...
