Fritz 9 vs Rybka in 5 Min blitz game question .. by
SAT W-7
My friends Fritz 9 went one and sixteen in the 5 minute blitz games ..
So then he played them at 25 min game and it was a draw and so he
played them n 90 minute game and Fritz won...
Why does Rybka dominate at 5 min games but draw or lose longer
thinking games ?
I am sure rybka can win those longer games but he only played those two
games one time...

fritz 9 rated game by
.
Is it at all possible to set up the engine (I tested at fritz elo 1620) so
it should play more evenly?
When set at 1620, it plays many moves at level 2000 and eventually to reach
the average 1620 fritz 9 makes some stupid move losing its pown in a very
visible way.

"Seirawan Chess" by
M Winther
In "Seirawan Chess", invented by GM Yasser Seirawan, the rules are the
same as in orthodox chess, except that two pieces, the Elephant (N+R)
and the Hawk (N+B), are placed in the reserve. Whenever a piece leaves
its initial square, one of the extra pieces can immediately be
introduced to the vacant square. So this is a double move, comparable
to castling. Should a player refrain from inserting...

Here are basic rules which I already know.
1. 3 Pawns= 1 Knight = 1 Bishop
2. 5 Pawn = 1 Rook
3. 9 Pawns = 1 Queen
4. King should be saved from attacks.
5. Pawn should be Promoted fast to Queen in end game
