I have a dual core 4200 and several MP engines, running without the Fritz10 GUI, I was wondering if I wanted to test a MP program such as deep fritz or loop64:32 would I use ponder on or ponder off? Also if I run two MP engines against themselves should I turn off ponder or not? thanks for the help

I have a question about the ECO. Whats the logic behind the organization of the openings? For example, if I want to find an opening that I don't know the name of whats the quickest way to find it? My kid has CM 9000 and was looking at some classic games that come with it. I'm not sure if the options are set up correctly, but there is only a brief comment shown on each game as opposed to analysis of every move (as I've seen in most good chess books).
