If you try to obtain too many games from the history of players on ICC, the database will respond with "Game database temporarily unavailable." Hi all. The Rebel decade program used to say what plays were being made, when you played against it, like "Caro Kann", "Sicilian" etc. Unfortunately, it doesnt run onWindows XP. Are there any other fairly strong chess programs that run on Windows, that can call plays in this fashion, as you are playing? Are any of these programs free software? Thanks for any info.
