Bill Goichberg makes $50,000 deal with Jim Berry by
samsloan
Don Schultz has confirmed to me that Bill Goichberg has indeed signed
a $50,000 sponsorship package to hold the 2007 US Championship in
Stillwater, Oklahoma in exchange for a seat on the board for Jim
Berry. I oppose this deal. Donna Alarie, Beatriz Marinello, Joe Lux,
Mike Goodall and Leroy Dubeck also reject this deal.

Brock lies about Donna Alarie by
samsloan
Read more, write less. Donna supports my candidacy. She said so in the
USCF forum. Quit lying. I'm a big shot board member and you're banned.
She also supports Mike Goodall, Don Schultz and Joe Lux. This slate
will win.

Leroy Dubeck found me more support in Donna Alarie by
samsloan
Donna Alarie has just joined my group after Leroy Dubeck asked her to.
Donna refused to endorse Randy Bauer. Her job is to help Beatriz
Marinello make sure that SP is not elected. We need to push our slate
of Schultz, Goodall, Lux and me through.

Donna Alarie supports Sam Sloan by
samsloan
Donna Alarie has changed her mind about me. She thinks I'm doing a
great job and she doesn't want to recall me anymore. I successfully
got rid of Tanner and the AF4C and now Donna is helping me get rid of
SP. She finally realizes that I'm good in what I do. I can't do this
without the support from Leroy Dubeck, Beatriz Marinello and Don
Schultz.

Generate and store EGTB's as a data tree by
sluijten@gmail.com
In order to be able to look-up a chess position in an EG table base,
the indexing scheme must ensure that each position is translated into a
unique number. The indexing scheme largely determines the size of the
EGTB files, so the number of illegal positions that an indexing scheme
allows should therefore be kept to a minimum.
I can think of an indexing scheme that allows absolutely NO...

Goichberg, Polgar, Truong, Free Ads in Chess Life and the $39,000 by
samsloan
You are splitting hairs here. Certainly anybody
reading these postings by Bill Goichberg would reasonably conclude that
neither Polgar nor Truong were paid anything at all.
Now, we finally figure out that when Bill Goichberg stated that Truong
was paid very little, he is referring to Truong individually, not
Truong as the "business manager" (as he calls himself) of Susan Polgar.
I think that...

I am the Father of Anna Nicole Smith's Baby by
samsloan
As hundreds or even thousands of men line up to take paternity tests
to establish that they are the father of Anna Nicole Smith's Baby, I
wish to establish that I am the real father. I ****ed her in every
position possible. She was a horny and kinky bitch.
Other men who claim that they are the real father are invited to join
this group. At least we can share our experiences with Anna...

Prominent Trainer Retreats From Claim He Held Title
By DYLAN LOEB McCLAIN
Michael Khodarkovsky is a prominent trainer and coach, and president
of the Kasparov Chess Foundation. But is he, as he has claimed, an
international master? No, according to the World Chess Federation, and
now he is backing off the claim.

Is Fritz Full Analysis or Blunder Check better? by
samsloan
Is Fritz Full Analysis or Blunder Check better?
I now have Fritz 10. It will analyze your games for you. There are two
types of analysis: Full Analysis and Blunder Check.
Neither are perfect. For example, say in a position there are two
choices: One is to win more material in a complex position. The other
is to trade queens and enter an elementary won endgame.
The human player will trade...

[ANN] New version of Scid (chess database) by
pascal
Hi,
I released a new version of Scid (a chess database program) at
http://prolinux.free.fr/scid/
Since my last annoucement here, I added more than 20.000 exercises (most
mates in N moves, all generated by myself from real games) and native
UCI engine support.
Enhancements from original Scid are detailed here :

New version of ChessDB (enhanced Scid) by
Dave (from the UK)
I've made a new release of ChessDB
http://chessdb.sourceforge.net/
the chess database which is an enhanced version of Scid.
The interface to The Week in Chess (TWIC) is much improved - downloading
the games each week in very easy indeed now. (There is support for an
HTTP proxy server in case you need it)

Best way of implementing a multi-node tree in C++? (or C#, a close cousin) by
raylopez99
What's the best way of implementing a multi-node tree in C++? What I'm
trying to do is traverse a tree of possible chess moves given an intial
position (at the root of the tree). Since every chess position has
around 30 moves, it would mean every node of the tree would have 30
branches (on average), which in turn themselves would average about 30
branches each.
I can think of a variety of ways...

Fritz interface in Hiracs ; Better than previous Fritz ? by
David Lemper
Want to buy Hiarcs but it has Fritz 9 interface.
I've had Fritz 8 for 2 years and it has more bugs than
an ice cream cone melted on the sidewalk.
Its so buggy , and to me not straightforward ,
that I rarely use it. No fun.
Is Fritz 9 any better ( can't be worse ) ?
Is there any way to run the Hiracs engine with a
UCI interface such as Arena ?

Fritz 10 vs Rybka 2.2 by
Paul
Hi,
I purchased Fritz 10 and Rybka 2.2.
Rybka keeps beating Fritz 10 and I thought that Fritz 10 was suppose to be
the strongest software program. Is there a setting in Fritz 10 to make it
play stronger or is it just that Rybka 2.2 is stronger?
Any help would be appreicated.
