Bill Brock's Lawyer Wins the Prize for "Best Brief" by samsloan
Bill Brock's attorney has just won the Sam Sloan Award for "Best Brief". I still think I can beat him (because I have a winning case, not because I can write a better brief) but I must give him credit where credit is due. Sam Sloan

Forthcoming Kamsky Topalov Match by samsloan
Welcome back! Did you enjoy your vacation? I personally believe that Kamsky will beat Topalov. What especially interests me is the question of what measures will be taken to prevent computer cheating. Both Topalov and Kramnik have in the past been accused of computer cheating, whereas Anand and Kamsky have never been accused of this. Of course, the players will assert their constitutional...

Improving upon perfect computer play by Guy Macon
Imagine that you have a computer that plays perfect chess because it has reached the point where it is playing from a tablebase. The common assumption is that such a computer should choose a line that leads to mate as quickly as possible, while the losing side should choose a line that delays the end as long as possible. Is this really the best way to program such a computer? Even if it is,...

I saw last 10 games all of them won by GetClub Except one game where a person was able to draw rest all were won by Beginner Level. Now even Help Bot will find it difficult to win the Beginner Level. Solving Chess by pialogue
I realize that not everyone is interested in the concept of "solving chess" due to its many complexities and variations of "midgame" play. However, what if the SECRET to solving chess is in the "draw" dynamic? In other words what if the solution to chess was in playing perfect "defense"? Would not a perfectly played game of chess NOT result in a draw? How else could it end? The ONLY way that...

Need help about buying a sensory chess board with PC interaction by clonfsp@gmail.com
Hello: I am looking for buy a kind of chess computer board to allow me to connect to a PC, and have seen, reading in different forums, that the Novag Citrine is a good alternative. DGT is too expensive and have a size a little big. Mainly, the Citrine is liking me because: * Don't have a very big size, but "appropriate" to play and analyze. * Has a nice design.
