SEARCH WARRENT by
Ray Gordon
Ambassador wrote:
Dear Mr. Fake Zito and Mr. Fake Murry,
We are moving toward a SEARCH WARRENT. You had better not live in the
United States, Russia, St Kitts and Nevis, or Italy. If you are really
a good hacker, I DARE you to threaten the Life of the President of the
United States.
You see, this guy can't pull that stunt like threating George W. Bush.

Why Marcus Roberts is a better chess politican than Sam Sloan by
Andrew Zito
Ambassador wrote:
I say this because I know, as a FIDE Delegate, what is coming next.
I ACTUALLY WON A USCF ELECTION (Regional Vice Presdient) as a write in
candidate. Sam Sloan has never won a chess election, and will never
win, becasue he keeps on LYING.
I was also elected VP of the TExas Chess Association.

Problem running tournaments with Arena and Rebel by
rngabell@yahoo.com
There seems to be a problem with Arena enforcing the timelimits in a
tournament, especially when Rebeluci is playing. Some times it just
hangs for hours without moving. Also Rybka (the free beta version) is
winning always but it calculates much longer time, typically 4-5 times
and some times up to 10 times longer than other engines (e.g. Toga,
Crafty, Ruffian). Is there a setting I might be...

A few chessbase 9 questions by
JRT
1) How can I easily insert a move in ctg format book in Chessbase 9
(something that is as simple as done in bookup for example).
(2) How do I stop the annoying arrows on pieces after each move in
chessbase 9?
(3) Is there anyway to stop the popup "Lines" when there are
variations in the game? (i.e. when I quickly browsing through some
game that has some variations and analysis, I don't want to...

Wikipedia of Sam Sloan by
Ray Gordon
Sloan is a big asshole, and no amount of logic will change his mind.
Sloan lives in his own reality, where what he does/says is good and
anyone who disagrees with him is evil and considers disagreements as an
attack on him, while at the same time Sloan attacks people
while failing to see that he's attacking them.

Chessbase search problems by
ajbibi@gmail.com
Actually CB 9 is frakked because I keep getting overrun errors when I
try to search and CB has not responded to my cries for help yet. So
I'm reduced to using HiArcs as a search engine.
But here's the problem. When I enter URS in the tournament search
field, it picks up such tournaments as "FRG-ch 12th"???
What am I not understanding? How can it be picking up tournaments
where the letters...

Friotz9 3-Rybka beta 1 by
Henri H. Arsenault
Although small neumbers like this are meaningless, this minimatch
yielded some interesting information, as the debate on whetehr Rybka
is really superior goes on. Maybe I'll have them playing a longer
match when I have more time.
OK, Fritz had a 3-1 score against Rybka beta at a 4-2 blitz match, and
it could just as weel been the opposite in a match this short.I had
both engines using 75 mb of...
