I have been scanning Chessbase looking for some extraordinary opening lines
and here is what it brough to me: [Event "Bled ol (Men)"] [Site "Bled (SLO)"] [Date "2002.10.28"] [Round "3"] [White "Amonatov, Farrukh"] [Black "Wilkenson, Sinclair"] [Result "1-0"] [ECO "B07"] [WhiteElo "2518"] [PlyCount "24"] [EventDate "2002.10.25"] [WhiteTeam "Tajikistan"] [BlackTeam "U.S. Virgin Islands"] [WhiteTeamCountry "TJK"] [BlackTeamCountry "ISV"] 1. e4 d6 2. f3 Be6 3. Nh3 c5 4. c4 Na6 5. b3 Nb4 6. a3 Qa5 7. axb4 Qxb4 8. Ba3 Qa5 9. Nc3 Nf6 10. Bb2 Qxa1 11. Qxa1 Bc8 12. Nb1 Ng8 1-0 It seems like a neat humoresque and sense of joy of whoever did the intractable job of re-entering the moves by hand onto the Megabase. I only wonder whether the players are alive to the fact they were made a mockery of by an anonymous villain. Any clues on the proper notation, btw? Best Regards |
