While you can get better deals on chess software, books and equipment
from other vendors, I decided to support USCF with a rather large
software order. I submitted the order and was informed that my
membership number was invalid. This resets the request form and you
have to start over. I repeated the information three time and got the
same response. Consequently, ChessBase got my business. Four months
ago, it took me a month emails and phone calls for the folks at USCF
to acknowledge that my credit card was valid. Once they agreed the
card was valid, I didn't receive Chess Life for two months. I
contacted them again and received a packet of two issues for each
month missed. Is USCF run by a bunch of incompetents or am I the only
one having problems with them?
