I am curious who and how many
of the present active rgc.* participants were psoting back on rgc, before the split into rgcm rgcp rgca rgcc... I could name at least three people beside me. In my case, according to Google, my first post on rgc was dated 1990-Jan-20; and it was a diplomatic success :-), see: http://tinyurl.com/6oh33 Regards, Wlod |

I've posted on and off since 1995. Back then, the laws were different
and you could defame people more easily with impunity, hence flame wars were more popular it seems (or maybe the novelty wore off). I distinctly recall Yassir Seriwan once replied to one of my flames. Or somebody pretending to be him. But I see this newsgroup is stuck in a time warp. Still slamming Sam Scone and ad hominy attacks. Or however you pronounce that. "Hominy grits are boiled and served as a vegetable or as a cereal, or they may be shaped into patties and fried;" |

raylopez99:
I've posted on and off since 1995. Hello Ray! Somehow the most senior participants are not sharing their story. The two, which are still active, are Louis Blair and Ken Sloan (not to be confused with Sam, who joined us in early 1995, I believe). Actually, I see Ken very little on rgcm these days). Both Ken and Louis posted on rgc already in 1989, and perhaps even earlier. Regards, Wlod PS. Those who read how terrible Sam Sloan is, should click on: http://tinyurl.com/5jneo (just to get a more balanced view). |
