The XII Russian Team Championship takes place April 18th-29th in Dagomys,
Sochi. Participants: Ivanchuk, Vassily UKR 2739, Svidler, Peter RUS 2725, Grischuk, Alexander RUS 2724, Morozevich, Alexander RUS 2717, Bareev, Evgeny RUS 2709, Dreev, Alexey RUS 2705, Akopian, Vladimir ARM 2703, Bologan, Viktor MDA 2700, Ponomariov, Ruslan UKR 2695, Motylev, Alexander RUS 2680, Volokitin, Andrei UKR 2679. Game reviews and downloads: www.ruschess.com Official site: www.chessliga.ru Ofhe intial 'warm-up' recommended games to-date are; Potkin -Najer 0-1 Ivanchuk - Volokitin was an interesting fighting draw Grishuk with the white pieces caused Svidler no particular problems, and most of the leaders drew their first games. 2725 rated Peter Svidler with the black pieces has just put away the 2665
player Moiseenko in an extraordianry Grunfeld. Ivanchuk defeated Morosevich I think there are 5 2700+ players taking part.
