Default Looking for Capablanca Game

As I recall, it was an almost dead-equal rook endgame with a single open
file, but capablanca had the slight advantage of having his king closer to
the open file. This seemed to make all the difference that he needed to
win. I want to say Capablanca had black. I also want to say this was
against Corzo, but I've looked at all the capa-corzo games I have and none
look familiar. And it may not be Corzo, so that may be a false lead.

I know it's not much to go on. If anyone recognizes this description --
especially the part about the smallest advantage of a better placed king --
I'd really appreciate a pointer in the right direction.

Thanks

Sounds vaguely like Capablanca-Tartakower, New York 1924, though
there Capa's advantage rested more on having a rook on the 7th rank.
This is probably not your game, but just in case, here it is:

Thanks, Taylor. Great game. I just ordered the Capablanca "Chess Machine"
CD. He bewitched me with his June 16, 1918 game against Fonaroff in New
York.

Using a combination of header and material search, Chess Assistant
5.0 produced a list of about 40-50 Capablanca games that at some point
had one rook and 5 to 8 pawns each for Black and White, and no other
pieces but kings. Looking quickly through them, I found three games
that seemed to fit your description at least to some extent. They are
appended below.
A similar search on CB MegaDatabase 2005 found 10-20 more games, but
every time I tried to read a game from the list, the @#$%^&* program
abended!
Anyway, I don't know if any of these are the game you want, but if
one is, you owe me big time. ;-)

Default Looking for Capablanca Game

Here's one more. As you will see, at the point it becomes a
single-rook endgame, at move 45, Capa's (Black's) king is nearer the
only open file (the h-file). However, that does not seem to have much
bearing on the game, as later it's White's king, not Black's, that goes
toward the open file.
