Where is the lie? Fact are, Hall is trying to extort money via the
threat of criminal process.

Dear Sir:

I am writing to you about my dispute with the US Chess Federation for
1,378 dollars. I refuse to pay the amount. The federation agreed to
allow me to direct chess tournaments for myself (I bought a life
membership) and several other players. Do to their promise made by
telephone, I went online and purchased a life membership, and later
called to buy memberships for other people who wanted to play in chess
tournaments. These people can't play chess, as the USCF won't let
me direct chess tournaments. The USCF engaged in credit card fraud in
selling an item for which they could not deliver on a simple promise.

The staff of the United States Chess Federation currently refuses to
honor their promise to provide me with a password for the web site in
order to direct Chess tournaments. I refuse to pay the charge, as I am
not able to direct chess tournaments for the people who I bought
memberships.

What bothers me the most is that these people, after the initial
telephone call, refused to discuss this on the telephone. Their
Executive Director, Bill Hall, refused to discuss this matter.

I am not a member of the US Chess Federation. I refuse to pay the
charges. Bill Hall can go to hell. I do not have time to spend with
these dishonest, crooks anymore.

I REFUSE TO PAY THE CHARGE.

Sincerely,

Marcus Roberts
