Larry is 'under-researched', as Philth Innes might say. The Supreme
Court case was in 1978, AFTER Sloan lost his license.

Some people think you go to court to seek redress for things which have
already happened!

Some people think you can go to court whenever, for whatever you feel
like going to court for. Shame the courts don't agree with them.

On the other hand, some people don't think at all!

Your narcissism is showing again.

Snip Innes talking about himself again.

The bureaucrats lost in the courts but they won
out against the individual.

Again, Sloan's 'victory' was only on a procedural matter. The Supreme
Court ruled the SEC could not reissue a ten-day suspension order "based
upon a single set of circumstances." Implying Sloan could ever have
resumed trading shows an ignorance, wilfull or otherwise, of the facts.

Conclusions of Law

1. This Court has jurisdiction under Section 27 of the Exchange Act, 15
U.S.C. ?? 78aa.

2. From on or about January 15, 1971 through January 31, 1972, [**13]
as well as from May 1973 to date, Sloan & Co., under the direction of
Sloan wilfully violated Section 17(a) of the Exchange Act, 15 U.S.C.
?? 78q(a), and Rules 17a-3 and 17a-4 promulgated thereunder, in
that Sloan & Co. failed to properly maintain, keep current and preserve
certain of its books and records, including: Ledgers or other records
reflecting all assets and liabilities, income and expense and capital
accounts; A securities record or ledger; A firm trading account;
Ledgers (or other records) reflecting securities failed to receive and
failed to deliver; Trial balances (or other records of all ledger
accounts); and Computations of aggregate indebtedness and net capital.

3. From on or about January 18, 1971 as well as May and August 1973,
Sloan & Co., under the direction of Sloan wilfully violated Section
15(c)(3) of the Exchange Act, 15 U.S.C. ?? 78o(c)(3), and Rule
15c3-1 promulgated thereunder, in that Sloan & Co. effected
transactions in securities (other than exempted securities or
commercial paper, bankers' acceptances or commercial bills) otherwise
than on a national securities exchange while and at a time when its
aggregate indebtedness to all other persons exceeded [**14] 2,000 per
centum of its net capital and, in addition, its net capital was less
than $5,000 or $15,000 as required.

4. While engaged in the above described acts, practices and course of
business, defendants, directly and indirectly, made use of the mails
and means and instruments of transportation and communication in
interstate commerce, and of the means and instrumentalities of
interstate commerce, and effected the transactions otherwise than on a
national securities exchange.

public against the continuation or repetition of the above described
violations [*1002] and, unless permanently enjoined, there is a
likelihood that the defendants will continue to engage in violations of
the Exchange Act and the Rules promulgated thereunder.

I agree.

Its taunting people in a cowardly way - I rather doubt that any of these
taunts would be uttered face to face, since as men we'd knock the living
**** out of anyone who insulted our families or ourselves.

The difference in this taunt is that its cruder and more obvious than
others.

Phil Innes

I appreciate your post. Jason is a sick soul who has gone so far as to
take a picture of my wife and me once posted on Matt Nemmer's site with
pictures of RGCP posters, crop me out of the picture, then post it on
dating sites.

He is obviously mentally ill. I am not concerned about him in the
physical sense -- I've had others send me pics from Canadian
tournaments, and he is a slouching Pillsbury doughboy type. I suspect
he lives at home, and when working, he and asks if people want fries
with their burger.

Given the choice of saving Sam or Jason from a burning building, Sam
will be my choice.

"Very strange" sums it up nicely. This is far from the only "very
strange" post you can find with Sam discussing in tasteless detail his
sexual escapades.

What about your whore wife Debbie's sexual escapades? I hear she took on
three NBA players at once!

I found this pretty interesting. In a thread about Susan Polgar a week
ago or so, someone posted the link:
http://chesswhore.blogspot.com/
This was clearly a prank, and additionally, it looks as though whoever
conducted this prank, tried to make it look as though Sam Sloan was
responsible as you can see for yourself that Sam Sloan's chess page is
one of the links there. However, and this is the interesting part, if
you view the original html code, ie; "view", "source" (in internet
explorer), you will see who actually put this blog together. Near the
bottom of the source code page, you will come across this line of code:
"!-- emposted by Randy Bauer @ a
href="http://chesswhore.blogspot.com/2006/04/i-am-whore.html"
title="permanent link"4:40 PM/a/em   -- "

that has been commented out with the !-- &-- tags so that it
doesn't appear on the actual webpage. I guess he didn't know that it
would still appear in the html code.

I'm sure somebody can do some deeper research to find out who is
responsible. I've learned there are lots of people with knowlege of
computers and programming far deeper than mine.

Needless to say, I see no need to make up fake Sloan posts -- the real
ones are good enough for me. I did not post the material in question.
Gee, you think somebody could have conveniently put that information
there to take the heat off the FACTS about Sloan I have posted?

I genuinely like and respect Susan Polgar. I wouldn't post anything
negative about her, even if I was supposedly attributing it to others.
She is a class act and deserves better.

If I were a betting man, this sounds like the work of Jason Repa, who
has a history of similar types of forgeries.

I think Parr has been duped - it's not "War of the Worlds" stuff either.
What a journalist!

Can anybody else find this post or the thread that the mysterious "Peter F"
is referring to?

For that matter, I find it very interesting that "Peter F" and the notorious
Internet forger Jason Repa both have a gmail account. Jason shows up after
months away, and, on the same day, suddenly posts to the types of websites
he frequents start getting quoted on RGC. What a coincidence.

I suspect that better Internet researchers and coders (calling Dr Blair and
others) can shed some light on this. My money is on Pillsbury Doughboy
Jason as the culprit.

Parr should know better. He has been burned here before.

A fascinating posting from Peter F.

IF TRUE -- and I emphasize that -- Randy Bauer
posed as Sam Sloan to defame an innocent third party
as he carries out the USCF Executive Board's smear
campaign against Sam.

This material should be sent to the Executive
Board for action. IF TRUE, is Mr. Bauer's action
consonant with his continuing as chairman of the USCF
Finance Committee?

IF TRUE -- and I emphasize that -- I would argue
that the board will still find it especially consonant with him
continuing as Finance Committee chairman.

We do not yet know whether someone forged Randy
Bauer's name on an attack against an innocent third
party -- an attack designed to defame Sam Sloan.

What I can say is that Mr. Bauer is quite
capable of employing such methods. That is part of
the brassknuckles school of politics he learned as
budget director for the state of Iowa.

Is there a way to resolve this issue???

If Mr. Bauer has been caught out, then he should
resign or be fired as chairman of the Finance Committee.

Bauer, you incredibly stupid hypocrite piece of **** loser. Everyone with an
iota of intellect who's a regular member of this usenet group knows that
you're nothing more than a cowardly little worm of a man who's entire
identity is based on a paltry 2300 uscf chess rating. You're a proven liar,
slanderer, incompetant twit and all around nuisance. Additionally, you've
just been caught RED-HANDED slandering Sam Sloan with a prank that YOU are
responsible for. As the poster pointed out, you're too ****ing dumb to
understand that comment tags still show up in code. ROFL!

Jason:

I would love to visit Canada. I hear it's a beautiful country.

Regarding your threats, why are you so intent on proving yourself a tough
guy? What did I ever do to you? It seems to me that a prudent and reasonable
individual would not threaten someone he hasn't ever seen.

Why don't you just calm down and tell us why you are always so angry at the
world. It might do you some good. go fishing, hunting, even camping. You
might even prevent a heart attack..

You don't impress me a bit. I'm a combat veteran of the US Army and I've had
the honor of serving with real men - not wannabees like you. These guys
would face death every day with me but would never post the threats you've
posted.

I guess you can call me all the names you want.

I'm calling your bluff. You are the one who's threatening me. Why don't you
come down to sunny Florida and carry out your threat? Only a coward would
not follow through.

So, what's it going to be, tough guy?

I wouldn't need to "try" anything you spineless weakling. I could easily
end
your life with my bare hands. Anytime you feel like doing the right thing
and committing suicide. I'll save you the phone call the Jack Kavorkian,
you
can come to Winnipeg Manitoba and i'll provide the service free of charge.

Even though Parr and I have had our differences, I always thought he was
smart enough to see through an obvious rouse. Jason Repa, a person who has
gone so far as to forge my wife's picture and create a ficticious profile of
her on a dating website, is back to his usual tricks, and Parr is either not
smart enough or too filled with bile to note the obviousness of his "work."

Where, exactly, is the "post" this "Frank F" talks about where Susan is
mentioned? I can't find it with a Google search. Note that "Frank F" and
our boy Jason are both posting with GMail accounts. What a coincidence!
Note it all surfaces when Jason comes above ground for the first time in
months.

Finally, whatever insinuations Parr wishes to make about me, I have no
interest in creating something that detracts from Susan Polgar, a person I
consider my friend and a person I admire for her work in chess. This is
pure Repa.

OK, Larry - get out the tired lie detector issue, because you and anybody
else can raise all the money you want. I will take a test anywhere, anytime
asking whether I created that sick content, and whether I had any advance
knowledge of it. Think Jason would do the same?
