Default Hello Chess World, how serious is Kirsan's Ilyumzhinov mandate on power?

I completely agree with Kirsan about St. Kitts and Nevis. As long as
you're involved, they should never be allowed to join FIDE. You're a
despicable bloke. You're a nutcase.

You look at the situation on St Kitts and Nevis and people say we
don't have any chess players. Do you realize that FIDE recognizes a
Somalia government in EXILE as a full voting member of FIDE?

Kirsan has hired Somali warlords with fake passports and given himself
a vote in FIDE? The entire continent of Africa is full of corrupt dirty
money. The government FIDE apparently recognized in 2002 sits in
Ethiopia, not Somalia.

Being rich doesn't mean you are necessarily that intelligent. Kirsan
Ilyumzhinov is about to lead FIDE in the situation where Lebanon sits
with Israel, a state of war and no army to defend FIDE.

Having a nation state as a hostile member is the last thing FIDE or the
chess world needs. Accept us, and move on. I won't spend money to
play these games anymore, I'll punish FIDE and we will get admitted
anyway.

Marcus Roberts
Permanent Delegate of St Kitts and Nevis to FIDE

So you think that I am a nutcase and Kirsan is level headed with the
alien spaceships in his interview "Planet Kirsan" in the Yorker? Give
me a ****ing break. I am a real multimillionare. I don't need to jet
around the world to deal with a second rate little dictator.

I really find it insulting when the UK holds three voting seats in
FIDE, and you come in and try to push around little states as
commonwealth members. In fact, I think that Nigel Short is doing
exactly in creation of a Commonwealth Chess Assocaition, and I am going
to oppose his choices.

St Kits and Nevis has no legal obligation to the UK in FIDE, and in
fact, the UK does not really exist in FIDE. I think that if you are
going to try to push around me, I am going to push around you in FIDE.

"Tony", why are you trying so hard to let us know that you're a Brit?

You used "bloke" in the posting above. Only the Brits used that, I thought.

You originally used "bloke" in another posting, Subject: Should convicted
felons be allowed to run for the EB? Date: 14 Jul 2006 11:55:44 -0700

In yet another posting in that thread, Date: 14 Jul 2006 13:24:55 -0700 you
also used the word "bloke".

We get the idea. You want us to think you are the sort of "bloke" who uses
words like "bloke" a lot.

Also, I saw some weird English spellings in your other postings.

When not forging Scam, you call yourself "London Chess" and claim your
email address is . Can't get more English.

Rather obvious what you want us to think, right? Subtlety mightn't be your
strongest point.

But your posting IPs (152.163.100.67 and 205.188.116.67) prove for sure
that your ISP is AOL USA and unless you are calling using international
long-distance on dial-up, you are in the States.

I've set up a regular pinger on your IPs and you are offline at times I
would think someone posting from Europe would be online but someone posting
from -0700 would be offline. Buy a Pro firewall or use a hardware box, the
free ones are worth pretty much what you paid for them.

I think you are in the western US, probably Cal, "Nick" (I think your name
is not "Nick". It might be "Tom", though). So why do you want us to think
you are on the opposite side of the world to where you are? Do you approve
of forgery, "London Chess"?

Since you have directly accused Scam of serious crimes in respect of which
Scam has no conviction, are you so confident that you, Mr 152.163.100.67
and 205.188.116.67 (the IPs you used to do that with), are anonymous? Or
do you intend to call the cops and get him convicted? Have you told your
Mom about what you are doing? Just as well for you that Scam is such a
honorable, forgiving "bloke".

I assume you aren't the same as this Nick Bourbaki who has CSU.ed as one
ISP and someone in Washington state as another. Nick too seems to want to
play the Brit game, but his IPs (130.86.14.7x and 216.190.22.15x) suggest
the water closest to him is the Pacific.

I checked that none of the IPs is a proxy.

Is there supposed to be an accusation against me?

I have written *only* as 'Nick' in rec.games.chess.*
Other 'Nicks' have written in rec.games.chess.*

I am *not* writing as 'London Chess', and
I do *not* know who's 'London Chess'.

I have no responsibility for what 'London Chess' writes, and
I have no responsibility to read what 'London Chess' writes.
I tend to lack interest in reading or writing about what
'London Chess' seems interested in writing about.
Also, anyone who can read should be able to tell
that 'London Chess' and I write quite differently.

(you may call me Old Nick) is indeed in
California, but is not any of the people to whom you refer, nor have I ever
intimated that I am anywhere other than in the San Fernando Valley, nor,
specifically in the UK or in Washington state, although I have been to
London and to Seattle. I don't know what these IP numbers are that you
reference, nor what mine is or how to find it. Nor do I care. I do not use
an anonymizer or a proxy. Unsolicited, abusive, insulting or hostile
e-mails are not welcome and will be reported and posted. HTH

Some 'Internet detectives' (such as Goran Tomic) seem to
believe that they can deduce a writer's physical location(s) from
looking at ISPs. There have been some long threads about it.
(If I recall correctly, Matt Nemmers once wrote that looking
at the ISP data shows that Larry Parr's in the United States
while he's usually believed to be in Malayasia.)

Mr Cramer, someone seems to suspect that 'Nick' has
has been writing as 'London Chess'. As you may recall,
Sanny recently believed that you and I are the same writer.
If I really am you, then does that mean that I effortlessly
can gain all of your knowledge and experience? :-)

Over the years, several writers (most of whom have long
records of writing insults and lies to attack me personally)
have been expressing their conclusions about my supposed
identity, location(s), and occupation(s). Their conclusions
tend to reveal more about their ignorance and prejudices
than anything factual about me.

Mr Cramer, by now you should have become aware of the
ad hominem nature of many posts in rec.games.chess.*
As I recall, you have informed me that you already have
kill-filed many abusive and dishonest writers, including
nearly all of the trolls who like to write insults and lies
to attack me personally. I have no responsibility to read,
let alone to respond, to anything they write about me.

Unlike 'London Chess', I have *not* created any thread
*only* for the purpose of attacking Marcus Roberts.
Like many other writers, I have criticised Marcus Roberts
on some occasions.

Unlike 'London Chess', I have *not* created any thread
*only* for the purpose of attacking Sam Sloan.
Like many other writers, I have criticised Sam Sloan
on some occasions.

As far as I can recall, I have written little about
Sam Sloan's criminal record. My criticisms of
Sam Sloan have been mainly directed at what
he writes in rec.games.chess.* rather than what
he has done outside chess.

Unlike 'London Chess', I have *not* called anyone a
'despicable bloke' or a 'nutcase' in rec.games.chess.*

As far as I can recall, I rarely, if ever, have used the
'term' bloke in rec.games.chess.* By the way, it's
ignorant to believe that only British people use the term
'bloke'; I have heard Australians and New Zealanders
using it too.

As I recall, some jingoistic Americans have demanded
that I declare my nationality (or national origin) in
rec.games.chess.*, presumably to help them make
more jingoistic attacks against me. If I recall
correctly, someone (who apparently worshipped
the US flag) seemed interested in 'insulting' me
by burning 'my' flag. I suggested that he buy all
the national flags and burn them all just to make
certain that he 'insulted' me as he intended.

If you still wish to believe that I am writing as
'London Chess', then go ahead. It's a waste
of time to argue with you.

I accept responsibility for what I write, and I have
apologised when I have been mistaken or wrong.
I am not responsible for other people jumping to
wrong conclusions about me and attributing to me
some statements or actions that have nothing to
do with me. I have no need to respond to them.

reference, nor what mine is or how to find it.

I am sorry you are unemployed and broke in London. Believe it or not,
about 10 years ago I had no money, and I know how it feels to be broke.
I never got as hateful as you are toward wealthy people as you seem to
be. The facts are that St Kitts and Nevis has a right at international
law to join FIDE. FIDE has no legal choice but to take us. The price
for IOC membership is that FIDE must accept a nation with only 1
chessplayer.

Kirsan doesn't have much power other than to delay.

So, why don't you hold off calling me a nutcase until we get into my
General Assembly speeches. Then, you will have a crowd to join you, and
you will feel better.

Good luck, you are going to need luck. I can't imagine why a unemployed
broke person in London would have nothing better to do but to attack a
soverign nation's Olympic Charter rights, becasue when I was poor and
broke, I got off my ass and WORKED.
