NO ALIAS?
I have no alias, Jason, my name is well-known and out there, and part of my email address! You know it as well as anyone here.. I backed down from no OTB match, I simply wasn't going to travel to Canada based on your challenge.-- "SBD" Steven Dowd/James Rynd/SBD have emerged from remission. Jason Repa administered a bit of verbal buckshot, and SBD is/are back. Readers will recollect that Dowd/Rynd forged my name at a website, later admitting that such was not their most glowing moment. On that, we disagreed. I thought the act emblematic -- a badge on his/their escutcheon. Readers will be forgiven if they imagine that Dowd/Rynd appear under a variety of names because, well, they do so. If they can forge the names of others, they will certainly provide monickers for themselves beyond what is on their birth certificate. The key point is that Dowd/Rynd have returned to our forum, claiming a malady for the reason that they are unable to play a chess match with Mr. Repa. NMnot Taylor Kingston, Dowd/Rynd -- they do have their reasons, don't they? SBD wrote: On Feb 16, 10:38 am, "Jason_911" wrote: SBD is another pathetic crybaby who hides behind an alias that can't play chess, or do anything else with any degree of competance for that matter. Not only did this whining ninny back down from an OTB match, he wouldn't even play me online. I suppose that's because both of us know what the result would be. You are a loser buddy, and you'll always be a loser. You have less significance in this world than a cockroach. I have no alias, Jason, my name is well-known and out there, and part of my email address! You know it as well as anyone here. I backed down from no OTB match, I simply wasn't going to travel to Canada based on your challenge - again, it seemed to me you were the one with the point to prove especially since I outrate you by aprox 200 points, and you didn't make an offer to play on-line. That I would have had to decline as my rheumatoid arthritis makes it impossible to play chess well with quick time controls. I can only hold a rating of 2100-2200 (where I currently play - playchess.com) in quick time controls as I simply can't move as fast as I used to. But sure, travel here with the money you offered to play for (but not those worthless Canadian $$), and I'll be happy to play a match with you. Anytime, you just travel down here to play and its on. Now that I am retired, I have a lot of time to play chess. Steven B. "Less than a cockroach" Dowd Now, let's wait for the angry, yet empty reply of the little boy Jason. |

Chris, you're not capable of "rational discussion". You have no ability whatsoever to comprehend simple logic or perform basic reasoning. You won't even acknowledge the fact that you said "I don't play much" as a pathetic attempt to try to justify your 1000 (retard level) rating. |

This moron AGAIN backs down like the pathetic coward he is even though I
suggested playing online. Of all the lame excuses I've heard for wimping out of a chess match, yours takes the cake!? It's a forgone conclusion that I would have won a minimum of 80% of the games. You know it, and I know it. And that's the real reason you're backing down. Face it, you're a frightened little ninny who's afraid of his own shadow. In the real world you have no influence and get no respect from anyone....not even your mother. You hide in usenet forums to seek respite from your pathetic existence. You've shown us who the frustrated little boy is kiddo, and you're completely helpless. JMR |

I would be happy to coordinate the match on chessworld.net. We could even have the game annotated. All Jason has to do is sign up and agree to play. Rob Internet corr. games is not "playing chess". It's computer & database vs computer & database. Don't pretend like you don't already know that Rob. There are two sites where cheating (in fast games) is not possible. ICC and PlayChess. I would have played this coward SBD at EITHER of those sites, but alas, he knows he's a weakling compared to me and would lose badly so he backed right down as predicted. |

JMR Dowd is an overrated mouthpiece who hasn't played a rated game in 2 years. I guess his "arthritis" prevents him from playing slow games as well, lol! If you're bored and don't have any paint to watch dry, you can do a search and find the many dozens of rubbish posts this twit has made that makes it quite clear he's all bark, no bite. Steve |

This is funny how you claim that Repa is the one with the "point to
prove", when it's YOU that chickened out of playing him. He even offered to play you at an online site that you say you play at, but you backed down and won't play. As for Canadian $$ being worthless, the Canadian $$ is trading alot closer with the USD these days, than in the past, but the USD keeps losing more and more value relative to the Euro. And an American taking pot shots at Canada is quite hillarious! Canadians enjoy a much higher standard of living than Americans across the board. Much lower crime rate, cleaner air, health care, etc, etc, etc. America is turning into one big prison with well over 2.5 million Americans in jail. You're also systematically losing more and more of your already limited rights and freedom under the pretense of "fighting terror". There are many times more Americans trying to immigrate to Canada than the converse because most of them are at least bright enough to know that the grass is indeed greener up North. I'm going to assume that even an uneducated, burned-out old geezer like you Dowd has enough "live" brain cells working to be able to figure out how to do some simple research to confirm what i've said. If they use a computer they have not proven anything except they are cheaters. There is no dishonor in losing to a better nor is there in losing to a cheater. The only dishonor is in not competing. Larry, you never let the truth bother you, do you? But at least you got your cheap shot of the day in. I bet it feels good; doesn't it, little man? |

OK, Jason, let's play on playchess.com then. I'll simply take a double
dose of my Celebrex to limber up the fingers. |

Rob Whether you want to call it "being resourceful" or "cheating" is a matter of semantics. The simple fact is that EVERYONE who gets a decent rating in corr. chess uses both chess engine analysis and databases. If you refuse to believe this, it's your problem. The fact still remains. Modern corr. chess is a form of chess studying, not playing. You can learn alot from this form of the game assuming you don't just mindlessly run the engine and database reference but also are a knowledgeable player who thinks about the position before using the computer assistance. If you want to actually compete against another human who has to think for himself you have to either play him (her) OTB, or fast games on a secure online server such as Playchess or ICC. BTW, what's your OTB tournament rating Rob? JMR |
