is similar. For example, both post so much that they clog up the
rec.games.chess.politics forum so that all others are discouraged from
posting.

However, I am not convinced that they are both the same person.

Also, there are two Fake Sam Sloans. One posts from ismailsloan @
gmail.com . The other posts from samsloan @ usa.com

I believe that those two are the same person, but I am not sure of
that either.

My comment pertains more to the fake Sam Sloan rather than to the
judgmentday persona, but, given that many of the fake Sloan posts (1)
impersonated a board member of a non-profit corporation, and (2) seem
designed to influence the elections and contracts of this corporation,
quite possibly to the financial advantage of the fake, couldn't the
case be made that this person's actions are criminal? This would mean
that a public official might be convinced to conduct the
investigation. Might be more effective than the real Sloan acting as
his own lawyer, and cheaper than hiring one. Heywood, you seem more
knowledgeable than I -- what's your take on this ?

It seems to me that the persons that keep impersonating others and stalking
various people from the USCF need to be stopped and punished with either
civil fines, monetary judgments, or whatever else the legal system can do.

I don't know who the victims are besides Sloan, but he should start printing
up all the malicious libelous postings and perhaps try to get the District
Attorney interested in this matter.

I don't know if the USCF will support him, but they should. It is impossible
to have any meaningful discussion on any chess forum due to the person or
persons that continually trolls these forums. That person needs to be
stopped.
