In just the last day since I banned Rob Mitchell from posting to the
FIDE-chess Yahoo group, a new entity has joined
and quit this group 7 times!!!!

It seems likely that this person is the same person as Rob Mitchell.

Meanwhile, Rob Mitchell has been filling up all the threads over on
rec.games.chess.politics with attacks on me, in much the same way that
the Fake Sam Sloan often does.

Is it possible that all along Rob Mitchell has been the Fake Sam
Sloan? Nobody has ever suspected him.

Anyway, I have no choice but to suspend as he
still refuses to identify himself.

Take a look at this strange pattern. What do you think?

Sam Sloan keeps up the blather that he has become confused over Rob
Mitchell's identity, that Rob Mitchell never sent him his telephone #, and
there are so many Rob Mitchell's around that he, Sam Sloan, is somehow
confused.

But what Rob Mitchell actually did is challenge Sam Sloan's actions -not his
blather.

He challenged the reporting of Bill Hall's medical status;
Challenged it in law, and as ethical factor.

He also challenged the porn on Sam Sloan's site.

I would say that any politician who would ban someone for questioning what
they actually do is someone living in fantasy-land. Chess politicos need to
become quite literally, response-able - and packing people off to the Gulags
is quite out of style!

Sam Sloan might attend to [own] his own actions here, and not keep up the
pretence that Mitchell's identity is anything but a diversion.

At least Rob Mitchell knows what standards are - since he impartially
defended Sam Sloan just one month ago for the destructive action at
Wikipedia, even though quite clearly Mitchell and Sloan have different views
on much else.

In terms of their relationship it is strange to think that Mitchell appears
as the impartial administrator, and Sloan the fickle faddist.

Rob Mitchell has just now finally provided me with a USCF ID number
which has says it his. The number is 12965920

It is to be recalled that I suspended him from my FIDE-chess Yahoo
group because Rob Mitchell refused to provide his USCF ID number and
said that he would not do so, thereby violating a rule of my group
that anonymous or fake name posters are not allowed.

By providing this number, Rob Mitchell is asking to be reinstated.

This number indicates that he is not a USCF member and has never
played in a USCF rated tournament.

However, he has since then rejoined my group twice under other fake
names and these fake names have had to be banned. He has also filled
up other forums with personal attacks on me and other general
nonsense. He has also started his own group with a name nearly
identical to mine, the only difference being _ as opposed to -. He
states that he has banned me from his newly created group. By creating
this group with confusingly similar name, he is obviously trying to
trick people into joining his group when they think they are joining mine.

He put me into his own group and made a member without my permission
and then banned me from this group I never asked to join.

As a result of all of the above, I see no reason for allowing Rob
Mitchell back into my group and I note that the only two people who
supported his being reinstated have been quiet about that lately.
