Aren't you contradicting yourself here Tom (see above) but no matter, I note the Northern English inflection regarding **** ie: '****e' - good one. A few posters here have described in horrid detail how he looks, sounds, and even smells -- and it doesn't get any more real than that! Someone mentioned in a post the other day that there are impostors. Any impostor can be readily identified by simply asking Good, good stuff. Finally 'cornbot' is learning how to spell _impostor_ correct. Correctly; you have to add the "ly" because it is an adverb. And your comment "Good, good stuff", is redundant; you have simply repeated the adjective "good" a second time. Interestingly, the real SS can be identified by asking him about TJ's slave children, on account of his rather unusual obsession with the subject. But postings by Skippy Repa are often readily identifiable in themselves, and that is quite unusual. Care to guess what is unique about these postings, which makes them so easy to identify from the postings of normal people? (Oops...) -- coach bot |

Finally 'cornbot' is learning how to spell _impostor_ correct. Well done cornmouth. And while Phil Innes is busily fornicating with your 'things' you might be looking to your corn-stik arse. I just finished reading the latest issue of Consumer Reports magazine, the August 2007 issue. On page 65 I noticed that the editor made a boo-boo in paragraph three along these same lines: --------------- "A freeze essentially locks up the information needed to conduct a credit check, and creditors won't open new accounts without that check. An imposter will be foiled...". --------------- The reason is obvious: 'Muricans pronounce the word just as it was misspelled by CR, not as im-pos-TOR. This word is most often encountered, not in text, but in movies or on TV, so the proper spelling is easy to forget. This explains how even the uppity writers at CR could overlook such an error, in spite of their normally excellent proofreading. One thing I love about CR is the way in which they have consistently talked-the-talk of, say, better automobile fuel mileage, while at the same time weighing what they like to call performance very heavily in their ratings and the commentaries of their auto tests. These folks want to have their cake and eat it, too. Here's a question I have always wanted to ask, but was afraid to: why do postings by Sam Sloan sometimes appear under the handle "sam sloan", and other times under "Sam Sloan"? I mean, is he a day trader, with dual machines running side-by-side so he can monitor his holdings and read Jim Cramer simultaneously? -- help bot |
