Yesterday, July 1st, 2007, we, the Exposition Park Chess Club
[http://chess.expoparkla.com/] hosted a free, unrated, three-round
chess tournament at the Exposition Park Library [http://www.lapl.org/
branches/06.html] in Los Angeles.
The tournament consisted of three quad, the second of which was
assisted by Christophe Carter, who functioned as the club's house
player. There were, therefore, a total of eleven competitors who were
attracted to our tournament.
The names of the winners, together with their winning scores,
were as follows:

1st Quad: Auluvance Tillmon 3-0
2nd Quad: David Alday 3-0
3rd Quad: Johnny Sears 3-0

When not conducting tournaments, our club conducts a wide
variefty of chess-related activities which include, but are not
limited to, social games, analysis of games, simultaneous matches
against a rated Master, and general chess instruction.
Our meetings are on Sundays, from 1;00 to 4:30 PM at the
Exposition Park Library. The Library's address and contact information
