'Vladolf' 'RatPutin' - The Free Press catches on (Vadimir Putin)
3 November 2007 {HRI Note 20071103} ' Obviously the Free Press is catching on, and I like to mention, as regards my 'Too Far Above The Journalists' series, *(1) which I am going to name the 'Introduction To Journalism Series,' in order to educate future journalists, I like to mention the journalist (who still in true journalistic and ingrained tradition of repulsion against telling the truth, fails) to mention Vladimir Putins intentions and nature, BUT who writes clearly and obviously the results observed so far from the intentions and nature of Russia's Putin, from which a very intelligent and willing reader, could in fact deduce (glean, distill) the actual intentions and nature, and thus extrapolate the intended actions of 'Vladolf' 'RatPutin,' a pun on Adolf Hitler and on the Russian, equally demonic personality known as Rasputin, Putin's actions so far, are well describe by journalist ' Con Coughli, of The Telegraph (UK) (Britain's No.1 quality newspaper, and Best Daily Newspaper on the World Wide Web, ) in the article 'Darkness is falling in Vladimir Putin's Russia' (of today) *(0) (see quotes from it, below) ' Koos Nolst Trenite 'Cause Trinity' human rights philosopher and poet 'Men of all nations came to listen to Solomon's wisdom, sent by all the kings of the world, who had heard of his wisdom.' 1 Kings 4:34 ' I quote from the - relatively speaking - very excellent article: 'Putin is claimed by some to have a personal fortune in offshore bank accounts in Liechtenstein [Switzerland], and Luxembourg [Europe], while establishing an authoritarian regime that has established a stranglehold over all the key levers of power.' ' ... explains Grigory Yavlinsky, the leader of Yabloko (Apple), one of the few truly independent political parties still participating in the election campaign: '"Putin has the system so closely controlled that he is able to arrange the result of a so-called democratic election weeks before that election has even taken place".' '"It was very strange how we would win thousands of votes in the provinces, but when they came to be counted in Moscow they had somehow been reduced to just a few hundred," says Yavlinsky. "No wonder no one stands a chance of defeating Putin in the coming elections."' 'In order to get funds and media exposure, a party must give the Kremlin a firm assurance that it will not discuss controversial issues, such as state corruption, or the way the ruling elite uses the courts to intimidate its opponents. Once that assurance is forthcoming, the party will receive money for its campaign and its candidates will be allowed to appear on television. The result is that on most nights, the main news topic is a [full of praise] eulogistic account of Putin's latest activities, whether that be posing semi-naked on a fishing expedition or travelling to Teheran to lecture the Americans on the futility of launching military action against Iran. With coverage like this, it is hardly surprising that Putin's approval rating rarely dips below the 80 per cent mark.' 'There is, though, a dark underbelly to this resurgent Russian bear which, despite the formidable powers at its disposal, remains highly sensitive to criticism, whether from home or abroad.'
