I don't have an easy way to determine this, since my
many games are strewn across internet-land, willy
nilly. But on GetClub I notice that it is a bit tougher
for me with the Black pieces, and some of my worst
losses have me playing Black where I made but a
single serious mistake, from which there was no
coming back.

At a certain level, you will run into "experts" who
have made a point to study their selected defenses
as Black in great depth, and this can make things
tougher for White. But there are also those who
have made a point to study "beating the X" as White,
which can circumvent many experts' knowledge of
the Black side.

I strongly suspect -- though I cannot be certain --
that if all my games were entered into a database
along with with then-current ratings, certain grave
weaknesses could be found. For instance, if only
I had replaced my Alekhine's Defense with a better
opening, I could expect to have scored 15% better,
(after I learned the ropes). That may not sound like
a big deal, but with a winning percentage already
in the triple digits, this could move me ahead of
Rybka, ZapChess, Gary Kasparov, Fritz, and two
other lesser players. ;D
