On Sunday, Dec. 2nd, 2007, the Exposition Park Chess Club [http://
chess.expoparkla.com/] hosted a free, unrated, three-round chess
tournament at the Exposition Park Library [http://www.lapl.org/
branches/06.html] in Los Angeles.
The tournament consisted of two quads. There were, therefore, a
total of eight players who were attracted to our tournament.
The names of the players, together with their winning scores,
were as follows:

1st Quad: Perry Buenavista 3-0
2nd Quad: Scott Merwin 3-0

When not conducting tournaments, our club conducts a wide variety
of chess-related activities which include, but are not limited to,
social games, analysis of games, simultaneous matches against a rated
Master, and general chess instruction.
Our meetings are on Sundays, from 1:00 to 4:30 PM at the
Exposition Park Library. The Library's address and contact information
