Thanks for this info..

Carlsen vs Anand should be exciting ..

Top vs Ivan , if one can win they will be in the lead all by themselves
.. I think Top is giving away to much of his strategy to Gata , because
you know Gata is studding these games . Looking for a weakness ...

Is Shirov tired of being the doormat in all these tournaments ? He
needs to fight for wins and not draws .....Today vs Lenko he needs to
come out and fight for a win as black which would give him great
confidence going forward.

Levon vs Radj , are these two other young guns in the game along with
Carslen ?

How old are all the players in this tournament ?

In the last tournament Carslen and Levon tied for first place so you
know those two are hoping finish a head of the other one ..Think about
it these games are recorded for history and you know in 20 years they
want to look back and say " i beat you in that tournament " ha ha..

What do you think of the fact that King's pawn openings (3 Spanish, 4
Sicilian) have been used in 7 of the 8 games?

I personally have enjoyed it for a change, but it's kind of odd to see
it that often in modern super tournaments.

Maybe they all had the same idea , try and open with something the other
guy has not seen in awhile ..They just have done it at the same time...

Makes the games exciting..

This group of player is very similar to Corus - and there we saw the same
thing. Lots of Ruys and Sicilians. I was thinking earlier today that the
surprise factor at Corus was when Judit P played a French! Judit doesn't
play the French!
