Default Was Polgar Rejected by the Hungarian Federation.......

If you are referring to accepting her back as a resident, of course
they would. She was born there. They would have to. Remember that
Hungary accepted back all those who defected during the Hungarian
Revolution of 1956.

If you are referring to letting her play on the Hungarian Team during
the 2008 Dresden Olympiad, of course not. In the first place, that
would be a violation of FIDE Rules. Also, both the USA and Hungary
would have to ask FIDE to waive the rules. The USA would agree of
course. However, Hungary has a strong young team. The highest rated
woman in Hungary (not counting Judit Polgar) is from Vietnam:

In order to put Susan Polgar on the team, they would have to kick off
Ildiko Madl, the player who actually won the 1988 Olympiad for the
Hungarian Woman's Team (not the Polgar Sisters as was otherwise
reported).

Hungary has a strong young team. Their players have already qualified.
Why would they kick out a player who has qualified in the regular way,
and replace her by a player who has not played a FIDE rated game of
chess in four years?
