Default Searching for a chess problem

Hello,i am searching for a beautiful chess problem that was post some
times (years)ago here.

If it was posted in this newsgroup, try the archives at groups.google.com.
The information you provide is largely useless for searching through Google,
but there might be some other information that would help. The 'mate in 3'
might do it.

Also do you know if a database of chess problems like the van der
Heijden Endgame Study Database is available somewhere ?

There are some, mostly associated with certain applications.
Problemiste (www.problemiste.com) provides several data files.
Alybadix also comes with a kind of database. Try

http://www.bcps.ukf.net/links.html

for a number of useful links.

As always, it's not the contents that's important, but what you
want to use it for. If 'look for problems with a solution involving
a long diagonal move' is it, you are almost certainly out of luck.
