Here are some of my observations on Pogo Chess:
It is Java-based SunMicro and very prone to glitching. It appears that it is intentionally set up to force you to read their ads which run for an absurdly long time. You are supposed to believe that "oh, they are showing me this ad while I wait for Pogo to load the board and program". In fact, I am sure it could immediately switch you to the board. Except Pogo intentionally wastes countless of our hours, scrolling the same ads over and over, while you wait. Pogo is also set up, it appears, to report bogus error messages back to your screen. Notice that it only "discovers the error"...after you have been made to sit there and read their inane advertising for 5 or 10 minutes. Then, Pogo kicks you back to the opening screen and makes you start all over again...reading their jackass ads again and again. |
