Hey Jason,

Perhaps lighten up a bit. We are just trying to help you here and look
what CeeBee got, insults from you?

What are you trying to do? **** off everybody?

I'm really sorry. I should know better.
I could go flyfishing in my bathtub, but not much fish in there.
So I troll for "Jason", as he's is such an easy catch.

I promise won't do it anymore.

Well...

Yes, you indeed are the idiot CeeGeek! You are too braindead to

understand a
simple sentence in your own native language. Learn how to read english,

then
come back to the NG's and try to be "helpful" at that point.

Hey Jason,

Perhaps lighten up a bit. We are just trying to help you here(....snip)

You are CeeGeek are clearly too stupid to understand that you have not
helped at all. I was quite specific about the title of the quote I was
interested in. With the help I am getting from belligerent jackass trolls
like you two, I will get nowhere! Go and "help" someone else!

I thought you said that you [PLONKED] me CeeGeek? You have proven that you
are a BOLD FACE LIAR in addition to being a SEMI-VERBAL, ILLITERATE, JACKASS
TROLL!

Jason,

If I go tell your dad that you have been posting in this adult
newsgroup, I'm sure that you'll be grounded.

"Liam Too", Just because you like it when your stepdaddy ****s your gay
little ass, it doesn't make it right......TELL HIM TO STOP!

Liam Too is a retard and a homosexual that still doesn't understand that I
am looking for a Lasker quote that suggests that chess is *above* games

That was exactly what I was looking for D.A.H, thanks a million!

What you are looking for is probably what Lasker is saying in his book
"Common Sense in Chess"
The book is an abstract of 12 lectures he gave in London in 1895.
The first lecture is opened with the following words:

COMMON SENSE IN CHESS

No. 1
Gentlemen: It is customary to begin with definitions, but I am sure that

all
of you are so well acquainted with the essential parts of the history, the
rules and the characteristics of Chess, that you will allow me to jump at
once in medias res. Chess has been represented, or shall I say
misrepresented, as a game-that is, a thing which could not well serve a
serious purpose, solely created for the enjoyment of an empty hour. If it
were a game only, Chess would never have survived the serious trials to
which it has, during the long time of its existence, been often subjected.
By some ardent enthusiasts Chess has been elevated into a science or an

art.
It is neither; but its principal characteristic seems to be-what human
nature mostly delights in-a fight. Not a fight, indeed, such as would

tickle
the nerves of coarser natures, where blood flows and the blows delivered
leave their visible traces on the bodies of the combatants, but a fight in
which the scientific, the artistic, the purely intellectual element holds
undivided sway. From this standpoint, a game of Chess becomes a harmonious
whole, the outlines of which I will endeavor to describe to you in this
course of lectures.

regards,
Dik

Another jackass troll rears his ugly head!

You're getting my webcam? Am I coming in clear, and in 64,000,000 colors --
or do I have the darned thing set wrong?
BTW, that game I just lost "live" to Fritz doesn't count, since I was
adjusting the camera, just as I hung my Queen (for the fourth game in-a-row).

Ask somebody who *isn't* particularly good at chess, just what it is, if you
really want to know. These GM's are just tooting their own horns. "The
ultimate intellectual blah-blah-blah! (Ergo, *I* am the ULTIMATE intellectual
blah-blah! Hahaha!")
