Default free internet rated games system?!

Try USCL. www.uschesslive.org (free rated games up to a limit of 12 per day)
or FICS www.freechess.org (unlimited rated games)

Chess-net used to be free, but they have turned to pay-to-play. Chessclub

is
also OK, but after 2 weeks of free gameing, your acount gets locked 'till
you pay.

Pay the 30 bucks because Blitzin is the only online platform worth a damn.

USCL has, hands down, the best interface. The only issue with USCL is the
lack of players and the games limit.

I just tried USCL. I have to admit, it has great interface. Nice table,
everything configurable. Really nice.
