Yes, I have the book!
But, this ' password' is meant as a kind of copyright-protection so that only those who own the book have a identical game-set as the book without to retyping the games/positions for computerscreen-studying. Sorry ;-)) Jo "Loki" schrieb im Newsbeitrag hlink.net... Hello, I have a database of games from a Max Euwe book. But to open it I need to know this: YOU CAN FIND THE PASSWORD EASILY in KRAMER/EUWE: THE MIDDLEGAME itself (in any edition you may have): 1) Go to the chapter "Individual Style" (last chapter of vol.2) 2) look at the subsection "TAL" (just near the end) and 3) look at the game Tal - xxxxxxxxxxx that is given in that section. The password is the (last) name of the black player xxxxxxxxx of this TAL game. Does anyone have a copy of this book that they can just post the name? I looked at the local Borders and the book is not there. Thanks! GAM |

I know it's a form of password protection. But it's a weak form if that.
That's the reason I asked for it on this forum. I think telling someone you know the name, but are not willing to give it is hilarious. I could just order the book from Amazon and then return it. But alas, a good Samaritan pulled through. So to Jo, thanks for the password lesson. ![]() And walah! "geller" is the right answer. Thanks for the info Bart! Maybe it is password protected to guarantee that people get paid for their work and investment. Maybe it's part of a bigger plot in our society that rewards people money for their hard work to earn a living. Maybe. Maybe not so voilą. -- CeeBee Uxbridge: "By God, sir, I've lost my leg!"
