Default The Bobby Fischer interviews: are they legitimate sources of information?

I know that: my statement referred to a more *general* context than the
*particular* viewing of that documentary. Under some *other* circumstances
in his life, Bobby Fischer may have become aware of the existence of
Napoleon.

For the record, here's what *preceded* (snipped by Smith) that dialogue above:

Lance Smith wrote to explain Bobby Fischer's admiration of Adolf Hitler:
"To be a world champion, you should be able to impose your will on the world
(like Hitler had done: my note, not Mr. Smith's) and Fischer did."

Then I wrote to Lance Smith:
"That hypothesis does not explain why Bobby Fischer chose Hitler,
rather than, for instance, Napoleon as his personal hero."

Irrelevant and nonsense.

Why does Lance Smith believe that it's "nonsense" that "under some *other*
circumstances in his life, Bobby Fischer may have become aware of the existence
of Napoleon"?

We were talking about Fischer's admiration of Hitler.
Napoleon is Napoleon, very simple and very straightforward.

My original statement's context is *not* what Lance Smith insists on
misunderstanding it to be.

Larry Parr also misconstrued my original statement to Lance Smith, so I wrote an
explanation to Mr. Parr that was about the same as the one written to Mr. Smith.
Unlike Lance Smith, apparently, Larry Parr has been able to understand my
explanation of my original statement's context.

Illiteracy, as well as stupidity (or "stupidy"), not to mention distortions
of other writers' posts, tends to be evident when Lance Smith writes.

Can you present some accompanying and/or supporting facts to the above
accusations?

Here's a recent example wherein Lance Smith distorted my statement by snipping
its significant first half in order to attack its second half out of context:

Here's a recent example wherein Lance Smith simply made a false statement
(also according to Louis Blair) about Louis Blair and me, "Then you (Louis
Blair) and Nick called Fischer crazy", which neither Louis Blair nor I did.

Here's a recent example of another stupid statement by Lance Smith:
"Then Bobby Fischer is a very normal politician." Really?

http://makeashorterlink.com/?O10321DF5

Evidently, Bobby Fischer would be the only supposedly "very normal politician"
(according to Lance Smith) in the United States who has made his kind of
reported statements about the attacks of 11 September 2001.

Stupidy is a friend of mine....

So does your friend know whether he's a fruit or a vegetable? :-)
