He is currently living in Baguio City,Philippines (and traveling to
Japan often). I don't know about his lady friend in Japan...but last
I heard from friends and family in Baguio is that he has a son by a
Filipina and is currently living with her and the baby (although he

This story contradicts the real whereabouts of Bobby. In the June 2003
interview, he said he is in Japan and not in Baguio, Philippines.

Anybody in Baguio is easier to trace than somebody like the Ongs in
Davao City, which is situated in the Southern Philippines and is
infested by the Al-Qaida (Abu Sayaff) terrorists. The one reason why
they placed the Ongs in their stories as living in Davao city,
Mindanao, is that nobody would dare to go and look for them there.

If Chun got his info from Sneider, then it's not true that Harry Sneider
is still Bobby's physical trainer because Bobby read Chun's story in the

to tell about the true situation. If the information came only from
Ellsworth, it would be clear that Ellsworth lied. But why Sneider
supported Ellsworth, that is the question. There is also one more
suspicious thing: I was told that Sneider cooperated with Brad Darrach
when Darrach worked at "Bobby Fischer vs the Rest of the World" and
Darrach even mentioned him in the book as "the weighter". I wonder how

Yes, the information is controversial and that means it comes from
different sources, not from Bobby Ang alone.

months, why can't the journalists go there?

That's the reason why the story is not true. Fischer can't go there
every two months. He would have been abducted by now.

If we are righting the wrongs and not writing them wrongly, then it's

I do *not* condone any reported racist or anti-Semitic statements by Bobby
Fischer, though I am ready to accept that Fischer's responsibility for them
might be mitigated on account of his evident psychological illness(es).

My impression is that Fischer's statement (cited above) reflected an
unfortunately not too unusual stereotype in the United States in 1962.
Fischer's anti-Jewish comment(s) would not necessarily have implied, however,
that he would have been unable to have tolerable personal or professional
relationships with Jewish people at that time. (For example, Richard Nixon
was known to have made anti-Jewish comments in private, yet he was able to
work closely together with Henry Kissinger.) Unfortunately, Fischer's evident
obsession about his problems with 'the Jews' seems to have worsened since 1962.
