very good move for the USCF to bring this back, as it saves me time
and money, and hopefully generates revenues for the USCF, as well as

I don't think we're talking about accelerated revenue here.

Each year's membership still comes in in the year it is due. The
advantage is that USCF spends less in collecting it. It's also likely
that some folks who wouldn't renew if they had to do something active
will renew if they don't have to take any action to make it happen.

We should also save on sending renewal notices. Just one confirming
invoice if that is the correct term.
