I recently bought a couple of chess sets for the school. They were all
inclusive - triple weighted pieces, board and bag with pockets for pieces and a clock. The board and pieces are decent but the cases have turned out to be a disappointment. They are pretty cheaply put together and the zipper broke on one of them after 2 weeks. I have been all over the net trying to find a decent travel case which wont fall apart. They all seem rather overpriced. Rather than buy some high priced POS and then be disappointed I thought that maybe some folks on here would have some suggestions for a good case. Have you bought anything which you were particularly pleased with? Where did you buy it? Maybe not a chess case but possibly an alternative? |

The excalibur bag has been great. It has a great compartment for everything
including your clock. http://www.king-cart.com/cgi-bin/car...ct_match=exact "Buddy" wrote in message news:c5Zab.525537$YN5.348837@sccrnsc01... I recently bought a couple of chess sets for the school. I've gotten good use out of a 2-1/2 inch cardboard mailing tube for many
years. Only costs about three bucks. Doesn't handle the clock though. "Buddy" wrote in message news:c5Zab.525537$YN5.348837@sccrnsc01... I recently bought a couple of chess sets for the school.
