In the thread, "Matthew Sadler loved the book" (18 July 2003), John Macnab
(whom "NoMoreChess" kept calling "Mr. McBad") wrote to "NoMoreChess":
"I'm not sure if I was unclear, or if you have trouble reading, or if you
are an adolescent trolling for a flame war."

Whatever his age, NoMoreChess's latest post of nonsense shows that he's still
addicted to his habit of "trolling for a flame war" around here.

"Never apologize -- it's a sign of weakness."

In this case (above), NoMoreChess does indeed practise what he writes.

..
Trolling for flamewars? Seems to me that describes Nick Bourbaki's latest
scribblings *to a tea*.

In the thread, "Matthew Sadler loved the book" (18 July 2003), John Macnab
(whom "NoMoreChess" kept calling "Mr. McBad") wrote to "NoMoreChess":
"I'm not sure if I was unclear, or if you have trouble reading,
or if you are an adolescent trolling for a flame war...."

1) John Macnab normally does not write unclearly.
2) Evidently, "NoMoreChess" often has trouble reading.
3) Only someone, such as "NoMoreChess", "trolling for a flame war" would
have called him, "Mr. McBad", which "NoMoreChess" *continued* to do.

Shall we ask John Macnab for his view on this subject?

Evidently, many readers here would disagree with NoMoreChess's low opinion of
my posts. Here are some comments on my posts from a broad variety of readers:

Jerome Bibuld (14 May 2003):
"The general tenor of your posts has been so heartwarmingly human and
winningly intelligent."

Bill Brock (10 July 2003):
"Bravo. I concur with all your major points."

Jerzy Ciruk (5 August 2003):
"You are absolutely right." (about the Soviet media's coverage of Kasparov)

Wlodizimierz Holsztynski (11 May 2003):
"And I am American in much much more important ways too. But I felt
entertained and amused by your posts and quotes, it was nice."

Mark Houlsby (15 September 2003):
"Nick's post is typically lucid and balanced."

John Macnab (17 May 2003):
"Great story! Thanks."

George Mirijanian (12 June 2003):
"I agree with Nick." (on my translation of 'gens una sumus')

Simon Spivack (31 May 2003):
"He (I) is a welcome regular contributor to this group."

Larry Tapper (21 April 2003):
"I've been enjoying your scholarly digressions, Latin epigrams, etc."

Tim Hanke (21 April 2003) to Larry Tapper about me:
"I too enjoy his (my) scholarly digressions, Latin epigrams, etc."

BTW: Age discrimination is against the law. :-)

I know that a writer, such as "NoMoreChess", does not need to have any sense of
of maturity, fairness, or honesty before he or she becomes able to write here.

I also know that some readers here already have killfiled "NoMoreChess" on
account of his addiction to writing trolling nonsense in making his personal
attacks on other writers here. That policy might well be necessary.

"NoMoreChess" has an ample record of writing distortions, misattributions,
fabrications, and lies about me. (Do I need to cite the links to those posts?)
"NoMoreChess" may continue to add to his record by writing more distortions,
misattributions, fabrications, and lies about me. But the trolling nonsense
of "NoMoreChess" does not warrant any response from me beyond disdain.
