MR. NOMORECHESS
By Larry Parr

A word for Nick Bourbaki: Nomorechess is Greg Kennedy.

Dear Mr. Parr:

Thanks--that's what I (and some other writers here) already have concluded.

The "style," if that is quite the word, is inimitable.
Right down to the grammatical and spelling mistakes.

I have read enough student papers to be able to identify, usually, the writers.

Years ago Mr. Kennedy used to talk about finding a spellchecker that would
empower him. He never did. The malapropisms are ever present, and at this
late date, one guesses they always will be.

Yes, Greg Kennedy's prose style is distinctive.

Mr. Kennedy and a few such as he have taken up false e-mail addresses, and
their criticism of this writer is that I fail to guess who's who. There was
a lot of resentment from our Nomorechess when I twigged his identity almost
immediately.

In the other threads wherein "NoMoreChess" is trolling me (which he has been
doing for several months now), "NoMoreChess" has been doing his utmost to
distance himself from being identified as Greg Kennedy without, however, ever
making an absolute formal denial of being Greg Kennedy.

If "NoMoreChess" truly were not Greg Kennedy, then why should "NoMoreChess"
evidently both deeply resent being known as Greg Kennedy and yet never bring
himself to make a verifiable denial of that identification?
