They seem to have a limit on the number of guests now.

If by chess.net you mean world chess network , yes no longer does that
crappy site owned by the grinning idiot accept guests.

Go to ICC it's much better anyhow.

Apparently they are limiting the number of guest logins. From what I hear,
chess.net's days are numbered.
Consider joining FICS ( http://www.freechess.org ) instead. iNemesis is one
possible graphical interface you could consider downloading for free (
http://www.ideabuilders.com/public/ )
