With all due respect to juries, they are subject to human fallibilities, and
consequently sometimes they might not necessarily make the right decisions.
For examples, please consider the historical record of some verdicts reached
by some "all-white juries" in the United States.

I am aware of the history of United Statesian juries and their treatment of,
not only colonials and immigrants, but also United Statesian "radicals".
"Plain ordinary" United Statesians -- in "criminal" cases, as opposed to civil
suits -- generally have not fared so badly, at the hands of U. S. petit juries,
unless they were framed as "reds" or "labor agitators".
